Maintenance for Hunter Park’s Water Feature

Our parks are the social glue of our neighborhoods, and in the heat of an Oklahoma summer, the children’s water park at Hunter Park acts as a vital cooling station and community hub (my 3-year-old son loves it!). Currently, this facility is falling into a state of disrepair. There are multiple water features that are broken and have missing parts.

Investing in the maintenance and modernization of the water feature is an investment in our youth and families. Proper maintenance of aquatic play areas reduces long-term repair costs and prevents the facility from becoming an eyesore that discourages park attendance. I am proposing an immediate assessment and repair plan for the Hunter Park water feature to ensure it remains a reliable, clean, and safe destination for Tulsa’s families for years to come.
